Travelling with Children: A Packed List

Travelling with Children: A Packed List

Travelling with children is often a challenge, but it doesn't have to be. Packing for a trip with kids can be done in a way that's both fun and efficient. As a parent of three, I've learned some tricks over the years and I want to share them with you. Whether you're taking a family vacation or just going on a business trip, this list will help you pack everything your kids need while still fitting everything into your suitcase.

Pack a bag for each child.

Pack a bag for each child, including a change of clothes, a favorite toy or book, and a snack. Include your child's medications and any other special needs items. Make sure you have contact information for the hotel and your airline if you are travelling. If you are taking a car ride, pack a few games and activities.

Pack snacks and water.

Pack snacks and water for the kids in case they get hungry or thirsty. Pack some favourite snacks that are easy to eat, like crackers, cheese, fruit, and granola bars. Pack a few extra items in case of emergencies.

Pack games and books.

Pack a few games and books for the kids to play with in the car. This will help keep them occupied and make the time go by faster.

Pack pajamas and toothbrush.

Pack pajamas and toothbrush for each child, as well as a change of clothes. This is especially important if you are staying at a hotel or motel. You may want to pack an extra set of clothes for each child in case something happens to the clothes they are wearing. Also, pack a favourite toy, blanket, or stuffed animal. Finally, it is a good idea to pack a change of clothes for yourself in case you get dirty or wet while traveling with children.

Pack a change of clothes.

Pack a change of clothes in case your child has an accident. You may also want to pack a favorite toy or blanket. If your child has a favorite stuffed animal or doll, it can make an easy transition from one place to the next.
